Omg, omg, omg! I have found this really amazing book and I am really excited about it! I love the plot so so much and I saw the trailer and I fell in love with it! *repeat repeat*
I am starting to be really amazed that I am reading more and more dystopias but I find some of them really amazing!
And the cover is really simple but it brings out the essential idea!
What do you think about this book?
Ps: The author is only 22 years old! Isn't that even more amazing?!

I have recieved this e-book for review from the author! Thank you very much, Jessica!

It didn't take too much time to finish this book but I guess that it was not that appealing to me. I found the action a bit confusing in some parts and I think that made me lose myself a bit.

It is a nice book, and it is suited for almost all ages since it contains only a few mature scenes.

The prophecy idea was interesting and I liked the choice of name for the aliens (the Hemera), the author used.

I think alien lovers will like or love this book :D Don't be afraid to read it given the fact that it didn't match my style! I am sure everyone cand find many interesting things in this book that they will love!

Se pare că am stat la munte & ţară mai mult decât credeam :D Şi mă bucur desigur! Am avut o pauză frumoasă în care m-am detaşat de net, pc şi chiar şi de citit! A fost ironic că am cărat 2 cărţi după mine şi nu am reuşit să citesc mai mult de 10 pagini per total :)) Am fost zilnic pe drum şi am preferat să privesc munţii care mă înconjurau <3

Am ajuns şi la castelul Bran şi de data asta am reuşit să îl şi vizitez! *da da da!* Şi ia uitaţi ce am găsit eu acolo mai important :D ~~

EDIT: Mâine mă teleportez pe alte meleaguri aşa că ne auzim peste vreo săptămână (cred). Tot nu m-am decis ce iau să citesc :)) Am primit House of Shadows azi pentru recenzie şi am decis să o iau cu mine :D Cred că voi renunţa la Dragostea Florii-de-Bujor pe care mă decisesem să o iau, în schimbul cărţii Crossed <3<3<3 M-am îndrăgostit de primul volum, Legăminte, şi nu cred că voi avea răbdare să mă apuc de al 2lea până mă întorc.

Cum multă lume am observat că a plecat/pleacă/va pleca într-o vacanţă în adevăratul sens al cuvântului, ei bine se pare că mă alătur şi eu acelei mulţimi :] *de când tot aştept*. Plec de la mare şi mă duc rapid spre munte <3

Iar acum vine mai marea problemă: ce cărţi să car după mine? :D Dacă nu termin Legăminte de Ally Condie până Joi seara, aceasta sigur va veni cu mine :D  Dacă o termin vreau să iau volumul 2 Crossed ca să am o continuare şi mai vreau ceva ceva... însă nu stiu ce :-?

• Clockwork Angel de Casandra Clare (da, da, ştiu! mă chinui să o termin de 100 de ani însă sper că o pot termina până la finalul lui septembrie xD)

THE WEEPING EMPRESS by Sadie S. Forsythe


I started this book the same day that I recieved it. I was really amazed that the pages were really full of words (not like other books) and only after reading a few pages I have felt that I read much more.

The story follows Chiyo Alglaeca. In the beginning of the book she finds herself in the middle of a battle, confused and not knowing how she got there. As the action progresses she goes along with two males, Muhjah and Senka, who are the only ones she thinks she can possibly trust. The two men see something really interesting in Chiyo as she always survives and acts like anyone else. They decide to train her and so, the main protagonist, finds her inner warrior spirit, proving her strenght and capability of handling a sword.

This book is really beautifully written! I really was absorbed by the story and I was amazed of it since this genre mostly does not fit with my style. I felt that this book had something more inside even since before I started reading it.

I really admire what character Sadie created! Chiyo is full of everything! I really loved her strenght and power to get in a place she had never thought of!

The ending of the book was also amazing. I had to digest the information after reading the Epilogue; I really liked the idea Sadie used there: the combination of the past and present was really something I did not expect!

Thank you, Sadie, for writing such an amazing book! I felt like I was reading scenes from a movie that played somewhere in the back of my mind *this book would be a really good movie!*

I recommend this book to anyone who admires the evolution of a character and loves to see beyond the written text!
